Avoid Prolonged Sitting to Prevent the Dangers of Spinal Disorders

Sitting glued to our laptop or computer screens have by and large become an inseparable part of our work culture. Prolonged sitting often causes wear and tear of bones and muscles which may cause rheumatic disorders like osteoarthritis. We can't completely change our working style, but making some alterations can definitely reduce the risk. Make it a point to get up from your chair after every half an hour. You may go for a small walk or a chat with a friend or even take a glass of water. Also, try using stairs rather than lifts, as it acts as a good exercise. These small things can go a long way in preventing the risks of prolonged sitting on your body.
