Special care is necessary for arthritis patients in severe winters.

In severe winters, problems related to bones and joints starts affecting a number of people.  Patients suffering from arthritis need to take even more special precautions. The early morning chills are the most difficult time of the day in severe cold and arthritis patients should strictly avoid going for walk in early mornings. Such patients must remain fully covered with woolens. If they still feel pain, they can take painkillers but that should be taken on prescription of a doctor. Self prescription should be strictly avoided.
