Some Disc degeneration with age does happen, so naturally the old are
expected to have back problems.But what has happened is due to life
style issues,(sitting on desk for long and that too in wrong posture,no
exposure to sunlight,remaining all throughout in air conditioned
environment ,no exercising and eating unhealthy food) the degeneration
has started much earlier in the younger age itself.The result is back
diseases which used to happen in old age ,nowadays is becoming younger,or
are being seen in younger people.Slip disc is becoming common in mid
twenty's.Spinal Stenosis is now found in mid 30's,earlier it was seen in
those touching 50.So all in all scene is not good.Drastic changes are
needed by the youngsters in their current lifestyle.Medical science may
help them live longer but it will be a painful existence.
