How to recover quickly from Slip disc

People suffering from slip disc is getting fairly common.But most important question is how to recover and come back to normal routine.Underlining few steps for it,first when a person is diagnosed,for first few days a person should take adequate rest,if it pains much take pain killers(prescribed by doctor).After few days start going to physiotherapist(carry your report) who shall guide you accordingly.Parallel start walking,doing back ward bending exercises,you will start getting relief.Forward bending is strictly no no.Continue with this routine for a month or two,you will be closer to normal level.But even after recovery be careful-don't lift any heavy object,don't bend forward.This can lead to relapse.Those who don't get relief for months even after following such a routine should see a spine specialist who can advise you about various non surgical/surgical(with least intervention).
