Spinal injuries by heavy weight Lifting



Every young person craves for a muscular physique like super heroes or celebrities but they are unaware of the adverse effects of heavy weight lifts on their spine. Dead lifts and squat lifts are one of the worst things you can do to your spine especially at a young age. When you do excessive dead lifts, your lower back compresses your Intervertebral discs which can also become a reason for lower back injuries like herniated discs. Similarly, squat lifts can lead to spinal fractures. Therefore, I urge teens to remove squat lifts from their weight training regime. Also, it is best not to indulge in heavy weight lifting unless you are not into such profession.
